On 4/5/24, at approximately 2245hrs, White Plains Police Units responded to the area of 1237 Mamaroneck Ave on a report that someone had been stabbed.
While enroute to the scene, Headquarters was advised that the victim of said stabbing was being transported to White Plains Hospital for treatment.
Investigation revealed that an altercation between youths had occurred in the area of the parking lot of 1237 Mamaroneck Ave, Mobil Gas Station. During the altercation a 17 year old male stabbed another 17 year old male in the chest with a sharp object.
Detectives processed the scene for evidence, reviewed surveillance video, interviewed several witnesses, and obtained several items of evidentiary value.
On 4/18/24, a 17 year old male was arrested for Assault 1st and is being held for arraignment.
