The Compstat report compares a wide variety of Department measurements to previous time periods to help identify any trends in crime and public safety issues. The report is updated weekly.

The Compstat program involves monthly strategy meetings. These meetings are attended by members of both the Police and Fire Bureau’s as well as our contracted EMS service partners.

These meetings increase information flow between the agency’s executives and the commanders of operational units, with particular emphasis on crime and quality of life enforcement information.
