The White Plains Youth Bureau, in collaboration with the City of White Plains Department of Public Safety, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) invite the community to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 26 from noon to 2 PM at Renaissance Plaza, Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street, White Plains.
This important public health and safety event provides White Plains residents with a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of old, unwanted or expired prescription medications—helping to prevent misuse and accidental poisoning, while also protecting our environment.
In addition to medication drop-off, attendees will have the opportunity to receive educational resources on substance abuse prevention and proper medication use; learn about the DEA’s role in combating drug misuse and engage with local public safety officials.
