11/02 / Mamaroneck and Waller Av. – a 45-year-old man from Teaneck, New Jersey was charged with DWI after a routine traffic stop. The vehicle was impounded and the subject was released with a future court date.
11/03 / 1 Old Mamaroneck Rd. – a 28-year-old White Plains man was charged with Assault 3rd, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor after a domestic incident. The subject was held for arraignment.
11/04 / 125 Westchester Av. – 7 youths (14-16-years-old) from New York City were charged with Grand Larceny 4th and Conspiracy 5th after a theft from the mall. Officers on patrol at the Westchester Mall were alerted to a theft occurring from a store at that location, involving several subjects. The officers immediately attempted to intervene and seven subjects involved fled the mall. The officers continued to follow the subjects and coordinated with units in the field. All seven subjects were apprehended within several blocks of the mall by responding officers, which included three separate foot pursuits. The subjects were located in a nearby garage and hiding underneath vehicles in a nearby parking lot. Several subjects were apprehended with merchandise from several stores in the mall. After being positively identified by retail loss prevention personnel, the youths were all transported to police headquarters, processed and released to parents and/or guardians.
11/06 / 1 City Place. – a 65-year-old homeless man was charged with Attempted Robbery 2nd after striking the victim and attempting to forcibly steal his cellphone. The subject was held for arraignment.
11/07 / 455 Main St. – a 20-year-old White Plains man was charged with DWI after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident with a parked vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the subject was released with a future court date.
11/8 / Grand St. – 27-year-old male from Ardsley, NY, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree after a routine traffic stop for not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle was impounded and the subject was released with a future court date.
