The City of White Plains Police Department has been reaccredited by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services’ (DCJS) Law Enforcement Agency Accreditation Program.
This voluntary program enhances law enforcement agencies’ effectiveness, efficiency, and professionalism while promoting training and public confidence.
To qualify, agencies must meet strict standards in Administration, Training, and Operations. Accreditation ensures professionalism, formalized policies, and clear expectations for employees.
Captain Anthony Drago, Administrative Commander and Accreditation Program Manager, attended the Accreditation Presentation in Albany on March 6, 2025, alongside Detectives Rafael Maracallo and Nicole Verrastro, whose efforts were instrumental in securing this achievement.
This reaccreditation reaffirms the department’s commitment to excellence, accountability, and public trust, ensuring White Plains residents receive the highest level of law enforcement service.
