The Slater Center has been part of a network of outlets city-wide providing food for those in need during the pandemic.
In the spirit of good community partners, and helping those less fortunate during these trying times, the Department has placed several food drive collection boxes within the Public Safety Building.
We asked that our members consider contributing to the Slater Center food bank in whatever way possible and the contributions collected so far have been considerable and much appreciated.
The effort will continue from month to month concentrating on different community food banks around the city and particular food items that are most needed.
We are very proud to help the community we serve in a new way, by making this small donation and we thank all of our members who have made donations.
