It was brought to the attention of The White Plains Department of Public Safety that one of our Officers made a Facebook post that was of disparaging nature towards Capitol Police Officers. The remarks made in these posts do not reflect the sentiment of the White Plains Department of Public Safety. While the posts were made on the Officer’s personal Facebook account, we realize that they impact and reflect upon our agency. We have initiated an investigation and will determine what if any action is to be taken.
We fully support The Capitol Police Department and the brave Men and Women who serve therein. We thank them for the service that they provide everyday and especially on January 6th, 2021.
