The City of White Plains, in partnership with (914)PopUps, is excited to present the White Plains Holiday Market. This COVID-aware market will feature 40+ vendors and artisans in individual open-air booths in the heart of downtown White Plains on Waller Avenue between Maple Avenue and Lyon Place.
“This year we have had to put our normal routines, as well as many activities, on hold,” said White Plains Mayor Tom Roach. “The White Plains Holiday Market offers the chance to get back a little of that sense of normalcy by providing a holiday shopping environment that is safe and fun. We are thrilled to be able to do this for our residents and visitors.”
The Market will be held from December 3rd through December 13th. Hours of operation:
Thursday – Saturday: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm.
Sunday – Wednesday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
The market is free to enter. Masks are required and social distancing must be maintained per New York State guidance.
Pick up your Christmas tree or holiday wreath! Find interesting and unique gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping list and after you’ve shopped your heart out, head over to one of the many downtown restaurants just steps away from the market for a drink and a bite to eat (either inside or out).
Wednesday, December 9th will be a Day of Giving. A percentage of sales from that day will be donated to Snarr Northeast Animal Rescue and Friends of the White Plains Public Schools. Melissa Tomlin, Founder of (914) PopUps said, “I am very excited to have partnered with the City of White Plains to put together this open air market. We hope to help local and small businesses during these times. Be safe and healthy, wear a mask, maintain social distancing and come and shop the event.”
Brittany Brandwein, Executive Director, White Plains Business Improvement District said, “The White Plains BID is proud to sponsor the White Plains Holiday Market to support small business in our downtown. We are grateful to 914Popups and the City of White Plains for providing a safe way for people to shop and enjoy themselves this holiday season.”
